How to add a badge wall to your site (and keep it crawlable)
A badge wall is one embed that shows every directory badge you owe. Instead of pasting dozens of images and links by hand, you add a single snippet and update it in one place.
Where to put it
The footer is the usual home. Bots check the page they were given when you submitted, so put the wall on that page, or on a footer shared by every page.
Make sure bots can see it
- Plain links work best: a normal anchor tag around each badge image.
- Do not add rel="nofollow" to the badge links.
- If your site renders everything in the browser, use a server-rendered or static embed so the links exist in the HTML a bot downloads.
- Do not hide the wall with display:none.
Keep it tidy
A wrapped row of small badges is enough. Use lazy loading so the images do not slow the page, and give each image an alt attribute such as "Listed on Directory Name".
Verify it
After you add the snippet, load the page with JavaScript disabled, or view the page source, and confirm the links are there. Re-check after site redesigns, which are the most common reason a badge quietly disappears.
Skip the forms
Skipforms submits to 100 directories by hand and tracks every listing until it is live.
